Vision Group’s Kabushenga resigns

The Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Government owned Vision Group Robert Kabushenga has thrown down the towel and resigned.

Information obtained by this publication on Friday morning reveals that Kabushenga had revealed his decision in an email.

According to Vision Group, Kabushenga said he would oversee a 90-day transition, as requested by the Board, before moving on.

“This is to let you know that for personal reasons I have asked the Board for an early retirement and this has been accepted,” he was quoted.

“”I am proud of the success we achieved and the impact we have had in society. This was possible because we worked together as a team. For me, it was an absolute honor and pleasure to have done so.”

Kabushenga is expected to concentrate on farming, which has been his passion over the past years.

He previously served among others as the head of the Uganda Media Center.

Earlier he worked at Vision Group as the company Secretary and Legal Officer and also as Legal and Administration Officer of the Monitor Publications Ltd.
