SARAH KANYIKE, APPOINTED STATE MINISTER FOR THE ELDERLY AND DISABILITIES

Sarah Kanyike sworn in as the new state minister for the elderly and the disabled following her nomination by the president Yoweri Kaguta yesterday, 26th August 2020.

The President of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni nominated Sarah Kanyike as the new state minister for the elderly and disabled on the 23rd of July and was later approved by the 10th Parliament shortly before she took her oath to her new office

The members of parliament welcomed Kanyike to the house and encouraged her to take on her new role with diligence and commitment.
