President Yoweri Museveni Kaguta launched the book titled Musevenomics during the 58th Independence Day celebrations at State House Entebbe on Friday.

According to the coordinator of operation Wealth Creation (OWC) Gen. Salim Saleh, “Musevenomics” was compiled in respect to the Social economic ideas Museveni has pre-pounded over time intended to espouse his contributions to Ugandans and humanity in totality.

General Charles Angina who made a citation on behalf of Gen.Salim Saleh said the citation is in recognition of the successful wars Museveni fought to liberate political vulnerable Ugandans from the pangs of oppression.

“The book also justifies the real economy against the vulnerable economy as emphasized by Museveni defending the resilience of Uganda’s economy during COVID-19 pandemic. “He added.

The book features Museveni’s central interventions to transform peasant communities through Agro-industrialisation and Agri-business by transforming the agricultural sector from the colonial 3T’s (Tea, Tobbacco and Tourism) and 3Cs (Copper, Coffee and Cotton).

Speaking about the book, The President said that even though he hasn’t read the book, what matters is the content in the book not the title.
