President Museveni Explains Why Infrastructure Development Now?

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni said Uganda’s revenue has increased with the Government currently receiving sh21,000b annually which has enabled infrastructure development across the country.

Museveni said this over the weekend while addressing a scientific audience at Iganga municipality after commissioning a 104km newly tarmacked Musita Road in Mayuge district.

This road links Mayuge, Bugweri, Bugiri, Namayingo and Busia district at the Uganda-Kenya border.

Recently Museveni stated that infrastructure development at this time is not about politics like it has been rumored.

On the same day Museveni presided over the breaking of the ground ceremonies for the construction of the Walugogo-Iganga-Bulopa-Kamuli road, stretching for 57.8km and Saaza Road within Iganga municipality.
