PRESIDEDENTIAL CANDIDATES TO BE EXEMPTED FROM CURFEW

Electoral Commission wants presidential candidates exempted from Curfew during their presidential campaigns.

According to EC each candidate will be required to provide a detailed list of their official agents and other designated persons assigned to their respective countrywide campaign trial, including media programmes on radio and television.

Electoral commission will then share these particulars with security to facilitate their smooth movements during campaigns.

This comes after Presidential candidates tabled a request to EC on Saturday to have curfew restrictions lifted during their campaign.

Presidential campaigns will begin today 9th November till January.
