Pres. Museveni Pays Tribute to Fallen Rushambuza

President Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Kaguta Museveni joined millions of people to pay tribute to canon Zabulon Rushambuza who passed on recently.

In his condolence message, President Museveni said that Rushambuza was a great father but also played a great role in building Uganda.

“This regrettable death has robbed us of a great father, patriot, counsellor, citizen, seasoned farmer. As we grieve the death of a father, we also celebrate his exceptional exemplary life which has been characterised by total commitment to family values and selfless service to this country as a whole.” Museveni said his condolence message read by Mary Okurut, the Minister of General duties in the prime minister office.

Rushambuza was the chairman of Batizi ba Bagoma from Kyeitembe village in Bushenyi.

He is said to have died at his home in Ntugamo cell, Nyakabirizi in Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality on 25th October at the age of 93.
