Police to Arrest Christmas Merry Makers
Police has warned the public not to attend parties during Christmas saying those who will be found merry making or attending parties will be imprisoned and persecuted in courts of law.
The Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Patrick Onyango said those advertising for Christmas parties should be warned that police is watching.
“We have read, listened and seen several advertisements both online and traditional media advertising parties in different places like hotels, beaches, and other open arenas,” Onyango said in a statement.”
He reminded the public of the COVID-19 standard operation procedures put in place by the ministry of health to fight coronavirus.
Onyango appealed to members of the public to report to police any party or event that breaches the Coronavirus regulations.
