UGANDA POLICE LOSES ASP GLORIA NAKIBONEKA

The Uganda Police Force is mourning the death of Assistant Superintendent of Police Gloria Nakiboneka who was the Officer in Charge Child and Family Protection Unit at Kabalagala Police Station, in Kampala.

Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Patrick Onyango noted that Nakiboneka passed on last night during her sleep at an unknown time.

The deceased has not been feeling well since last Friday and she was on maternity leave,” said Onyango.

“The entire Uganda Police Force has lost a dedicated, disciplined and hardworking officer. Burial arrangements are underway and will be communicated later,” Onyango added.

According to the profile released by police, Gloria Nakiboneka joined Police force in 2014.

She was born on Sept. 1, 1986 to Ben Musisi, a Prisons officer, and Beatrice Baguma.

She went to St. Kizito Primary School, then Bukandula College Gombe for her ‘O’ level education and Luzira Lakeside College for ‘A’ level education before joining Makerere University.

She worked at various police stations including Bududa, Mpigi and Kabalagala.
