New U.S Ambassador to Uganda Sworn in.
M.s Natalie Brown the incoming United States Ambassador to Uganda was sworn in, Nentech Reliable Media reports and will soon arrive in Uganda to undertake her full ambassadorial duties.
Ms. Brown thanking Omaha Police for her swearing-in ceremony tweeted on Monday saying, “I deeply appreciate the police-federal-credit union of Omaha for hosting and facilitating my swearing-in ceremony as the next United States Ambassador to Uganda”.
Ms. Brown will replace Ms. Deborah Malac who served as U.S ambassador to Uganda for four years.
The United States is Uganda’s biggest donor, providing significant development and security assistance to the tune of shs 3.3 trillion annually.
Ms. Brown before being appointed head of US envoy to Uganda served as chief of mission, US embassy Eritrea and deputy permanent representative and deputy chief of mission of the US-UN agencies in Rome.
Ms. Natalie Brown, a career and exemplar diplomat has extensive experience and diplomatic prowess she brings to Uganda as Head of U.S envoy.
