Ministry of Education and Sports Revises Syllabus for Candidates
The Ministry of Education and Sports has revised the syllabus for the candidates in Primary seven, Senior four and Senior Six.
According to the Home Study Learning Framework, obtained by Nettech Media, the syllabus will only contain a few key concepts for example lessons like Letter writing in English have been eliminated in the new syllabus.
A source from the Ministry told Nettech Media reporters that due to COVID 19, most syllabuses would not be completed, therefore only concentrating on a few key concepts will be the focus for the Uganda National Examination Board.
The reduced content in the syllabus will cut across all subjects including sciences. Second term study period that began on 15th October has also been reduced to only two months instead of three.
