Govt Warns Schools Against Teaching Non-Candidates
The Ministry of Education and Sports has warned schools who have started teaching non-candidate classes with a view to catch up with syllabus saying their licenses would be withdrawn.
The warning was issued by the Minister of Higher Education, Dr Chrysostom Muyingo, during the launch of a SACCO for proprietors of private education institutions association held at Sheraton Hotel.
Muyingo appealed to schools to adhere to presidential directives concerning re- opening of schools, and the directions of the Ministry of Education, re-echoing that only candidate classes were allowed to open on 15th October.
He added that the plans of reopening other classes are underway therefore, students and schools should be patient till then.
